The original plan was to go to Catalina Island while my parents were here. That was before I looked at the website and found out it’s 50 bucks just to get there! Two hundred bucks for a few hours of entertainment. Instead we went to Knott’s, a smaller amusement park in Buena Park.
We rode coasters (them less than me – too whimpy for Ghost Rider or the one that launches you), the steam train, and a few fair midway-type rides. It was a blast, just wish there were a few less day care/summer camp groups. Lots of tiny children running around makes ‘ya crazy.
