FO: Sunray

In June, I fell in love (as did many others) with the Februay Lady Sweater pattern. Less than 48 hours after I saw the pattern, I ran out and bought 10 skeins of Berroco Comfort to make myself one. The sweater was doomed from the start (which I whined about here upon frogging it). So what could I do with 10 skeins of it lying around, taunting me? It’s not the greatest yarn ever but I didn’t want it to go to waste. After an attempt at a purse, a cabled scarf, and Wysteria, I decided the last thing it should be used to make was cabled anything. Eventually I settled on a few projects, my favorite so far being this Sunray.

The Sunray is a great short scarf, perfect for people like me who hate the ends of my scarf making me look all poofy when stuck into my jacket. The pattern went very fast and while somewhat simple, kept me quite entertained. While I enjoy the scarf, it’s up for grabs if you would like it for yourself. Keep in mind you’ll need some sort of shawl pin to keep it, well, on (though I like using a DPN for this purpose, myself). Just leave a comment and it’s yours.

Project Ratings: These are a new thing I’m going to be doing. Sometime soon I’ll take the time to explain what they each mean, though I hope they’re somewhat obvious to the casual observer. All ratings out of 10, with 10 being the most positive rating.
