Last week, WordPress put out a call for Beta testers for future versions of what is calls WordPress iOS. In short, they want people to play with (and break, then tell them to fix) the iPhone and iPad WordPress apps. Somehow, I made the cut. [Of course, how it happens was simply that I was one of the first 30 people who signed up to participate using an iPhone. I like to pretend it's because the beta lead, Chris, thinks knitter-engineers are the wave of the future and a critical component of the WP iOS market that must participate in the testing.]
It’s a year-long committment to trying out new features as they’re unveiled and, in turn, a year-long comittment to continuing to blog.
I guess that means you all are stuck with me, at least for another year. And, because I’ll be forced to use the iOS to do a good amount of my blogging, you all will have to sit through videos of my cats playing, photos of funny signs I encounter on the way to/from the Metro, and rants about how people in airports are idiots. In other words, the stuff I usually post between meaningful, well thought- out posts.
Shut up, I can hear you laughing from here.
